Amiel Gerald A Roldan™: Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila, Philippines; Amiel Gerald A. Roldan™ is a painter, printmaker and independent curator that resides in the Philippines. He studied BA Fine Arts Studio Painting. He was curator for several galleries like Imahica Art, Gallerie Anna, Kulay Diwa Art Galleries : A Contemporary Art Space since 2005. He now acts as a consultant curator. He has co-organized exhibitions and promoted young Filipino artists and international artists abroad like residents of Studio One in Canberra, Australia since 1998. Roldan was a grant awardee of the Asian Cultural Council (ACC), New York and the Starr Foundation Fund He was the first Filipino artist at the International Studio and Curatorial Program (ISCP) in New York City in 2003. This 10-month stay was his first artist residency grant abroad. He continuously applies for full grants to be able to improve his chosen profession. Roldan has been invited to the 1996 Japan-Asia Print Art Exhibition at the Fukuoka Prefectural Museum in Japan and at the 4th Triennial Mondiale D' Estampès Petit Format in Chamaliarès, France in 1998. His print works has been collected by the Singapore Museum since 2001 and the Experimental Printmaking Institute (EPI) in Pennsylvania in 2004.
